“To combat anti-abortion legislation throughout Europe” is our target claims Astra, a pro-abortion network in Central and Eastern Europe which asks for “a stronger European parliamentary response to increasingly regressive legislation in Europe.”
Astra held a meeting with MEPs and policy-makers on October 11th and 12th in order to try to counteract right-to-life legislation throughout Europe. Amongst many demands, Astra advocates for increased funding for the development of ‘youth-friendly’ sexual and reproductive services, and for a funding stream for the monitoring of ‘Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights’ in European Member States.
Freemasons’ Lodges, acting inside the European Parliament through the Institut Maçonnique Européen announced on their website: “By means of our presence inside the European institutions with the European Masonic Institute, we want to do everything possible to introduce the right to abort in the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights”. We are warned.
