VN-resolutie legt draagmoederschap bloot
Draagmoederschap wordt vaak voorgesteld als een daad van medeleven of een kans, maar verbergt een verontrustende realiteit van uitbuiting. De recente resolutie van de Verenigde Naties over mensenhandel werpt een licht op draagmoederschap als een praktijk die vrouwen en kinderen tot handelswaar maakt en hen behandelt als winstobjecten. Deze blog gaat in op de vraag waarom alle vormen van draagmoederschap erkend moeten worden als een schending van de menselijke waardigheid en roept op tot dringende actie om de kwetsbaren te beschermen en de principes van rechtvaardigheid en mensenrechten hoog te houden.
