With this celebration, the UN General Assembly wanted to raise public awareness of the issue and recall the inherent dignity, worth and valuable contributions of people with Down syndrome as promoters of the well-being and diversity of their communities. He also wants to highlight the importance of their individual autonomy and independence, in particular the freedom to make their own decisions.
From One Of Us we want to demand the absolute need of respect the dignity of the unborn with Down syndrome as One of Us. Let’s promote the Down syndrome citizens integration to our communities
