The March Yes to Life 2023 on March 12 will begin at 12:00 p.m. starting from C/Serrano (corner C/Goya) to Cibeles.
The Yes to Life Platform calls on civil society to attend from all parts of Spain and thus show the vast majority in favor of life that exists in our country.
It is a unitary March under the same color, green hope, and the same motto, Yes to Life (Si a la Vida); which will be attended by people from all cities in Spain and other European countries to show their commitment to life.
Madrid, February 22, 2023.- The Yes to Life Platform, made up of more than 500 associations that are united by the defense of life, from its beginning to its natural end, summon Spanish civil society to celebrate the International Day of Life, which is commemorated on March 25. This year, this celebration will take place on Sunday March 12 with the great March Yes to Life 2023 to facilitate attendance from all cities in Spain to Madrid. The tour will begin at 12:00 noon on Calle Serrano (corner C/ Goya) up to Plaza de Cibeles, where a stage will be located where an act will be held with testimonials, a reading of the Yes to the Platform manifesto. Vida and a minute of silence will be observed together with the traditional balloon release in memory of the unborn and all the victims of the culture of death. It will culminate with a small concert to celebrate the Day of Life.

At the press conference held on the morning of this February 22 to offer the details of the March, Alicia Latorre, spokesperson for the Yes to Life Platform and president of the Spanish Federation of Pro-Life Associations said: “A strong Yes to Life is urgently needed. to life for the most innocent and weak, who are considered a right to take their lives, for mothers who need help during their pregnancy, for those who need special care at any time in their lives, for everyone. It is urgent to show your face, assume responsibilities, not give up, show the greatness and irreplaceable value of each human life. And also to thank and encourage so many who every day do good, try to solve problems, defend and live the truth of life”.
Amaya Azcona, General Director of the REDMADRE Foundation, has indicated: «The maternity support organizations will come out to say that we will continue to provide our accompaniment to all those women who ask us for support to overcome the difficulties they encounter when they find out that they are pregnant.»
Álvaro Ortega, President of Fundación + Vida, has said about the great Yes to Life March: “This is the day in which all of Spain raises its voice for those who have no voice, the day in which we value what is beautiful, the good, the truth: life, family, motherhood. Young people from all over Spain will show that we are the vast majority who defend life in all its phases”.
They have been accompanied by representatives of some of the associations that are part of the Platform: Rosa Arregui director of Adevida, Reme Losada of AESVIDA, Eva María Martín of ANDOC, Ana del Pino of European Federation One of Us, Marta Verlarde director of +Futuro, Oscar Rivas from Educatio Servanda and Javier Rodríguez, director of the Family Forum.
The Yes to Life Platform expects massive attendance. Different organizations and groups of people have organized buses from their cities to attend this event. Among them: Zaragoza, Huesca, Valencia, Cuenca, etc. The March Yes to Life 2023 already has almost 300 volunteers who help their organization.
