The European Citizen’s Initiative One of us has already collected over 1.500.00 signatures all over Europe.
ECI rules petitions require a minimum number of signatures in at least 7 member states. As of today, 17 countries (Austria, Croatia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia and Spain) have fulfilled this requirement.
As of today 1.534.276 European citizens have expressed the concern of European society as a whole on the need of greater protection of the human embryo. We are closer to our objective, namely to change the future of the embryonic stem cell research industry across Europe, defend the life of the weakest and protect human life.
1.534.276 EU citizens supporting the protection of the human embryo in Europe is a great success and a remarkable milestone for us. We appreciate the support of so many and will continue campaigning to pass an even stronger message to the European Commission and demand the whole protection of the human being as the first and fundamental right in our society.
“One of Us” will continue collecting signatures until November the 1st, last day of the collection period. This last day, November the 1st, we will launch a special campaign through the social media. We still have 4 days.
