OBJECTIVE OF THE SEMINAR:
The United States was the second country in the West to legalize abortion in 1973. In the last decades there has been
an important change in public opinion on abortion, a process that has culminated with the Supreme Court ruling of June 24, 2022, establishing that there is no constitutional right to abortion, and with more than half of the States approving restrictions on its practice.
The objective of this Seminar is that US politicians, jurists and members of the civil society and of the media explain to politicians and members of the civil society and media from Spain how the process of the reversal of the abortion
regulation has taken place in the United State, as protagonists.
