For almost 15 years, the Foundation Centre for Life and Family has been organising Marches for Life and Family in Poland. They are organised in order to publicly witness the fundamental value of human life from conception and the family based on marriage between a man and a woman, open to receiving and bringing up children.
The marches have a positive, joyful and affirmative dimension.
Due to the changing socio-political reality, and in order to highlight the most important aspects of the defence of life and the family, each year they are organised under a different banner. However, they always express the expectation of such social and legal changes that will ensure full protection of human life and family rights in our country.
The first March for Life and Family took place in 2006 in Warsaw. Over the course of 13 years, more than 150 cities and towns have undertaken the organization of the March, and every year this number grows.
Declaration in favour of Life and Family:
«Poland needs a change! A change that will ensure that our and future generations will grow up in an environment that allows them to develop freely, to feel valued and to enjoy the fruits of their labour. We believe that the foundations of the new order should be based on respect for human life and recognition of the family as a central institution of the social order.
We also recognise that there is a need for consistent and hard work to promote these values. The importance of a strong family for the formation of a healthy cultural, social and economic order must be recognised and valued.
Therefore, we express our willingness to cooperate in implementing projects aimed at shaping the social and legal order in such a way as to guarantee full protection of human life and respect for the family.»
The federation One of Us shows its support for this initiative that defends the true foundations of our civilization. Poland’s action in the field of the defense of life and the protection of the unborn as ONE OF US, is an example of future and progress based on respect for the fundamental rights that are included in all international treaties and that have inspired the true development of our societies. Today the annihilation of the human being is presented as an advance of civilization when it really turns us into a society that eliminates its children at its convenience. We cannot remain impassive or silent because future generations depend on our actions. Thanks to the organizers of this March for their courage in giving a voice to those who do not have one.
