The ONE OF US Federation decided in 2015 to organize the first ONE OF US Forum and European Award to be held on March 12th, 2016 in Paris, Salle Gaveau under the motto “EVERY LIFE MATTERS”.
The ONE OF US Federation for life and human dignity was launched in September 2014, following the great success of the ONE OF US European Citizens’ Initiative that gathered about 2 million signatures.
After the terrible terror attacks in Paris on November 13th, 2015, the Federation confirmed, maybe more than ever, that the Forum must take place in Paris. What happened can only reinforce Europe’s commitment and love for the defense of life against all forms of terror. The ONE OF US Forum shall be a sign of hope in Europe and the world, to find peace in the respect of human dignity and solidarity for all.
This unique and first of its kind event will therefore most notably be marked by:
- A large public and media oriented event, bringing together around 1500 participants and reaching thousands of citizens across Europe.
- A celebration of humble heroes of life through the first ONE OF US Award given by a jury composed of personalities from national movements.
- A public appeal from European experts addressed to European leaders to protect life and support the ONE OF US Initiative.
