The first seven
The European Coordination Office of One of Us in Brussels reports that the Netherlands, with 19,548 signatures (the 100.25% of the minimum required) joined the club of «The First Seven European Member States», together with Austria (202.39%), Italy (287.52%), Poland (267.29%), Slovakia (184.14%), Spain (101.26%) and Hungary (291.59%).
Now the European Citizens Initiative One of Us (https://oneofus.eu), demanding to the EU the protection of the human life dignity from conception, has reached one of the two conditions required by the European Commission and the European Parliament:
– At least seven EU countries must reach the minimum statements of support (signatures) established by the EU.
Next goal, and second requirement, is to collect 1 million signatures among the 27 member states (soon 28 with Croatia) by 1st November 2013.
As of today, over 500.000 signatures had been collected. The number is rapidly increasing thanks to the support of the European Citizens.
