The goals of this year’s March are to create awareness for the value of each human life and to pray to God for a change of heart of those who are silent or support abortion.
In December 1980 the abortion law was passed by the Dutch Parliament. Like every year, the March for Life in 2018 takes place on the second Saturday of December. In 2017 the March for Life attracted 14,000 participants. There was a lot of national and international media attention.
Fighting for Life since 1985
The march is organized by Cry for Life, a non-governmental organization that has been active against abortion and euthanasia since 1985.
